Yangzhou Fried Rice

Rice, Noodles, and Other Grain Foods

Yangzhou Fried Rice
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons chopped cooked shrimp
1 Tablespoon minced Smithfield ham
1 teaspoon rice flour
2 Tablespoons corn oil
1 scallion, minced
1 slice fresh ginger, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 cups cooked rice, that is at room temperature or cold
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Preparation:
1. Mix shrimp, ham, and rice flour.
2. Heat oil in a wok and stir-fry scallion, ginger, and garlic just until fragrant. Then add the shrimp-ham mixture and stir-fry it one minute.
3. Add the rice to this and stir-fry until heated through' then add the sesame oil, toss and serve.
