4 Tablespoons corn oil
1 pound lamb, coarsely hand minced
1 cup coarsely diced onions
1 cup rice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black or medium hot cayenne pepper
flat bread, optional
1. Heat oil and add lamb and brown the meat, then add onions and cook until they are soft.
2. Add onions, rice, salt, and pepper and stir for one minute, then add two cups of boiling water, reduce heat, cover and simmer on very heat for three-quarters of an hour, then serve with flat bread, if desired.
