Steamed Meat Cakes
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef or lamb
1 egg white
1/2 teaspoon groung pepper
1/2 cup finely diced onions
Preparation:
1. Mix meet with egg white, salt, and pepper until well blended. Then refrigerate until chilled.
2. Make into eight patties. Take two of them and make a sandwich-like item with meat on outside and one-quarter of the onions on inside, and press edges of meat to seal the onions inside. Repeat with rest of the ingredients.
3. Place on a plate and put plate in a steamer and steam for twenty minutes over boiling water. Then serve.
