Non-flower-pepper (or fagara) Mix
2 Tablespoons ground white pepper
2 Tablespoons coarsely ground black pepper
1 Tablespoon ground fennel
1 Tablespoon ground five-spice powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne or another hot pepper
1. Mix all of the spices, and put into a small glass bottle, such as an empty spice jar.
2. Use as substitute for ground Sichuan pepper, in equal amounts.
