Restaurant Review

Peach Farm Restaurant (Boston MA)

(617) 482-1116    4 Tyler Street,
Boston, MA 02111

Reviewed by: Jacqueline M. Newman
Spring Volume: 2007 Issue: 14(1) page: 24

Across the street from China Pearl & Dim Sum Restaurant is Peach Farm. We enter going the needed few steps down and are excited, looking forward to good Chinese food. Considered 'Best of Boston 1995' some folk told us they still have great dishes, but no dim sum. The Spicy Dry Fried Salted Squid, the Clams in Black Bean Sauce, the Steamed Scallops on the Half Shell (not always available), Spicy Green Beans, and the Stir Fried Water Cress are hard to beat. Over-crowded on week-ends and a few evenings, we note this eatery is often empty weekday afternoons and evenings. We wonder why and the friends who recommend it as still top notch, do too. Perhaps readers can advise. Are Chinese food lovers not driving into downtown Boston?
