We are impressed after eating at this recommended place in a small strip-mall. It is Vietnamese, authentic, and appropriate to include in this issue that has an article titled: Vietnam's Chinese Food Heritage. Vietnamese food has Chinese overtones, and as we recently returned from Vietnam. While there, we did learn why Chinese and Vietnamese foods are so similar. You can, too, reading the article that begins on page eleven in this issue; aldo by eating at this fine small place.

Many Chinese restaurants are touted in San Diego and throughout Southern California. Some are good, this one's classic Vietnamese soup, called Pho is outstanding. Should you locate a another great Chinese or Vietnamese restaurant in San Diego or environs, do advise and on our next trip west, we will seek them out.
