Another in the 'Bible' cookbook series, see the one titled: The Rice Bible reviewed in this issue. All are equally colorful, have fine photographs, and in them, there is much to learn, Asian and Western. This one is less Asian specific but nonetheless very informative and worth serious perusing.

It is one in a series of food books, their titles similar; all called The...Bible. Other titles include: The Pasta Bible, The Chicken and Poultry Bible, The Chocolate Bible, The Cheese Bible, and of course, The Rice Bible. No factual errors were found other than not every Chinese vegetable is included, not was it expected to be in this volume about the world's most popular vegetables.
