American Chinese Cuisine

by: Miller, Frederic P; Agnes Vandome, and John Brester

Mauritius : Alphascript Publishing 2009, Paperback
ISBN: 978-613-0-21614-6

Summer Volume: 2011 Issue: 18(2) page(s): 20

This book and another bought at the same time, soak purchasers about thirty bucks each. One cover says: "High quality content by Wikipedia articles!" We found neither of high quality. Paying for free web information is dumb, even more so because the very small type (some six to eight point) is on very thin paper, and one can read through to the next page. This book has one full-color photograph on the cover, a hot dog on a roll with a squiggle of mustard on top, chopsticks next to it. When was the last time you or anyone ate a hot dog with chopsticks? The title uses a small 'c' for cuisine. The black and white pictures are so small, one needs a magnifier.

Why review it? Because it and the other thirty-buck loser titled Indian Chinese Cuisine might save cash for others. Their editors are soaking all and providing little of extra value.
