Pumpkin Pies
1 Tablespoon butter
10 ounces Japanese pumpkin, peeled and diced
1 Tablespoon sugar
2 egg yolks,
1/4 cup milk
1 sheet puff pastry
1 Tablespoon flour
1 whole egg, beaten
1. Melt butter.
2. Put pumpkin into a bowl, cover with plate and microwave for three to four minutes, until soft. Then mash and mix with the melted butter.
3. Add sugar, egg yolks, and milk, and mix well.
4. Dust work space with flour and put puff pastry on it. Then cut puff pastry into a dozen small pieces, about three by three inches. Put some of the mashed pumpkin mixture in the center of a square. Brush some beaten egg on the corners of the dough and form a triangle. Brush the top with more egg glaze and use a toothpick to make tiny vent holes on the top.
5. Bake in 425 degree F oven for about ten minutes until golden brown, then serve.
