Peanut Sauce for the Sate
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
2 Tablespoons minced onions
2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1/3 cup chunky peanut butter
1/2 cup coconut milk
1 Tablespoon lime juice
1 teaspoon sugar
salt and pepper to taste
1. Heat oil in a saucepan and brown onions and garlic.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well, then simmer one or two minutes. Remove to a deep dish. This sauce can be served with any vegetable or meat satay.
